DOUBLE-SHAFT MIXER ADM
Technical solution:
The de-airing chamber, the extruder chamber and the body of the mixer including the baseplate of the gear-box are made as the weldment from steel plate. The augers and paddles are also welded from steel with the wear resistant hardfacing AWELD Standard. The desing of augers and paddles enables the effective wear protection thanks to the naves, which protect the mixer shafts against abrasion. The extruder chamber is divided in the shaft axis for an easy assembly and disassembly of augers and paddles. The extruder chamber mixer lining is made from steel plate and straight stripes with CrC hardfacing. The mixer throughs can be produced with or without the steam system
The augers extrude the raw material into the de-airing chamber. The exchange of screens is managed with the hydraulic mechanism, which enables the cleaning or the exchange of screens without any opening of the de-airing chamber or the disassembly of the mixer. The cleaning of screens can be done without any outage. The mixer shafts are overhung - this position of the shafts improves the vacuum tightness and lowers the possibility of the sucking of the air around the bearings, which can possibly deteriorate the vacuum.
The mixer is driven by the AC motor via the planetary gear-box to one of the mixer shafts. The second shaft is driven by the gear set, on request can be provided with the mechanical spur gear-box. The oiling is managed with the oil system equipped with the self-cointained pump. The de-airing chamber is equipped with the square flange, which enables to connect the double-shaft mixer to the extruder either in the parallel position to the main shaft or in the perpendicular position to the main shaft.
